The greatest moment in our lives is the moment when we begin a relationship with Jesus. The Bible explains very simply, that Jesus is only a prayer away. When we call on His Name, asking Him to save us from our sin, we receive His forgiveness.

Very often we have an idea that we can never get near to Jesus, and if we could, we question whether He would listen to us. Some of us may feel that God is distant, cold and angry, that He is all about religious rules that we could never keep, and the list goes on. But that is not true. The Bible actually says that we can get instant access to God, He’s not far away from anyone of us. 

​

Simply put the Bible says, "call on the Name of the Lord and you shall be saved". What could be simpler than this. It's like a child calling his or her mum or dad and getting their attention and immediate assistance. The child doesn’t get ignored because it has called for help. This is exactly what the Bible says; call to Jesus from your heart and you will begin a new living relationship with Him. Jesus responds to us immediately because He loves us so much.

So, if you are ready to ask Jesus into your heart why don’t you pray this prayer to begin your new life with Him. 

 

 

PRAYER 

 

Lord Jesus I ask you right now to be my Saviour. I know I am a sinner, please forgive me. I believe you died on the cross for all my sin. I believe that you rose from the dead and want to live in my heart. I call on your Name and ask for your new life. Thank you. Amen.
